This puzzle was set by Oskar van Deventer. He prepared all the images and
permissible state changes. I just glued it into an applet.
The man is strapped into a diabolical fair-ground contraption which can
be rotated about a number of different axes (5 in all). Only a subset
of these are connected for a particular orientation of the man. If you
follow the cables from the numbered buttons, you will see that some are
disconnected.
Click on a connected button (or key in its number), to initiate a
rotation.
Aim: to get the man upright and facing forward.
You can restart the puzzle by keying 'r'.
